As a family owned practice, Dr. Jones wanted a site that communicated trust and approachability that didn't feel corporate. With the help of hand-drawn illustrations and designs focused on local imagery, we were able to create a bespoke site that felt welcoming and intuitive.
Through UX improvements, I helped decrease friction in the patient experience and for the team when scheduling patients, processing payments, and navigating to important resources.
When thinking about the experience of seeing a new doctor or provider, trust is the most important aspect of that relationship. Both first impressions and continuing the relationship have many opportunities to build on or break that trust. I find it exciting that making a few, but impactful tweaks, can aid in that relationship and make someone feel welcomed, cared for, and appreciated.
We were able to add a custom payment page for patients where the team is now able to process over 100 payments a week. Improved site navigation and organization of resources has allowed the team to easily provide helpful information and improved clarity of processes for new and established patients.
